Dr. Michael J. Wiley is a 1980 graduate of the Oklahoma State University. Dr. Wiley has been in private practice at Equi-Center Veterinary Hospital since 1984. Prior to establishing his private practice Dr. Wiley was an assistant veterinarian at Cottonwood Equine Center in Norman, Oklahoma.
Dr. Wiley's specialties include lameness, reproduction, and critical care. Dr. Wiley has done extensive research in the diagnosis and treatment of Dorsal Displacement of the Soft Palate. Actively involved in the horse industry, Dr. Wiley has race, show, and pleasure horses. He also is involved with several animal rescue groups. After the May 3, 1999 F-5 tornado, he received the Humanitarian Award from Governor Frank Keating for his work with the injured horses.
